Women's Healing Soul Groups
Our core material is the book Women Who
Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. You will have the opportunity
to reclaim your inner voice, strength and creative vitality.
The
group meets once a week for six months and will end with a "Soul Retreat," a
time of intense soul work and sharing.
Participation
in a soul group requires a commitment of six months. This is a closed group
experience that fosters a long-term connection between group members. In
addition, because as women we typically connect with so many others in our
lives, the work of the Soul Group will have a positive, healing effect on all
of your relationships.

La Loba Ministries
"A Search For Soul: The Inner Pilgrimage
of Women" This is your opportunity to become a part of a small group
experience of mutual support and listening. Trust and confidentiality create a
safe place for you to share your personal struggles and triumphs. Receive
guidance and facilitation for your inner spiritual pilgrimage as you heal old
and current emotional, spiritual, mental and physical wounds and issues that
inhibit well being and wholeness. We will be working with issues such as
reconnecting with your Self, Others, and the Divine; learning about and facing
the affects of negative self talk and the abuse and control of others; gaining
an understanding of patriarchy and the negative effects it has on your health
and your inner self; and retrieving your intuition or inner guidance system.
You will learn the tools of a personal spiritual and healing journey. We will
use prayer, meditation, journaling, sacred drawing, the telling of our life
stories, guided meditations, ritual and much more.
Soul Groups-Phase II
If
you have completed Soul Group- Phase I, for the initial 6 month period with
Lydia Meyer of La Loba Ministries and would like to continue on in a Soul
Group doing more healing soul work, then Soul Group-Phase II is for you.
In Soul
Group-Phase II you will be a part of a Soul Group that will continue reading
"The Wolf Book" (Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes)
regarding issues of primary relationships of love, knowing ourselves deeply,
teaching our mates/significant others more clearly who we are, learning to
invite our mates/significant others into a deeper level of "soul mate" love
and dealing with issues of family, mother, belonging and a "sense of home" in
your life.
This will help
you examine many personal issues in your life and how they affect your most
important relationships. You will be able to make some significant changes in
your life that positively affect your relationships. You will develop a
trusting, supportive friendship of the soul with the other women in the group.
If you made
progress in your healing soul work during Soul Group-Phase I, you will be
able to continue and extend that transformational work in Soul Group-Phase II.
